KitKat for LG G Pro Lite is finally here

It's happening !! LG G pro lite finally gets official kitkat update, check 'software update' on your phone, you should see the android OS upgrade.

This official kitkat upgrade is available through OTA (Over The Air), that means you can update directly from your phone.

You can do this by opening the software update app on your LG G pro lite, or go to Settings > About phone > Common > Software update.

You will need to download about 589.92 MB of data for this upgrade, so make sure your internet works and if possible connect to WiFi hotspot.

Oh my god i'm so happy, thank you LG for bringing kitkat to LG G pro lite :) In the next article i will make a review about this kitkat.

NOTE:
  • i don't know if this update is global, but i'm using LG G pro lite dual D686 and i live in singapore, this may different for each country and for each models. Just be patient if you're not yet getting update on your region.
  • for some reasons if you can't do the OTA update (always failed) then you need to use the LG mobile support tool.

  9. After the update is complete KitKat, you need to Factory Reset for the phone to operate stably, if not reset, the phone is working slowly, fully charge the battery for a long time ...
